Early 2017, Applied Medical Europe took in use its newest location that has become the new standard for all manufacturing locations of Applied Medical worldwide. It started with a Specification Of Requirements (SOR) of the newbuild consisting of various functions from manufacturing and storage to office space and a modern cleanroom. Key in the specification was the versatility of functions that must be housed in the building in accordance to highly specifically defined technical performances. The Specification Of Requirements developed by P&DS, formed the best basis for tendering a Design & Build contractor.
Construction works followed in 2016 supervised by P&DS through a design & build methodology that combines audits and site visits. Early Q2, 2017 the newbuild was completed including fit-out and garden design.
Since 2017, Applied Medical Europe works out of the new manufacturing location build towards the highest standards housing several real estate functions all supporting the primary business process of the medical manufacturer. Cushman & Wakefields´ P&DS unburdened the company and continuously steered on planning, budget and quality making a development and realisation time of just two and a half year possible.
